With the arrival of ‘Freedom Day’ in England (and a similar version in Scotland), we felt it was time to give you a treat.
Clearly, the pandemic is far from over and there are many different views around the easing of restrictions. However, one thing that is not debatable is that it’s been a long 17 months so a little pamper/self-care session may be well overdue. The “Post-Covid Pamper Raffle” is here to fill your need even if ‘post-covid’ remains a, somewhat elusive, hope on the horizon.

The important bits

  • Tickets cost £1 each.
  • You can buy as many tickets as you would like, every ticket has an equal chance of being drawn, and there’s no restriction on how many prizes an individual can win.
  • Ticket sales close at 6pm (BST) on 6th August 2021 and the raffle will be drawn at midday on 7th August 2021.
  • After making payment, you will receive an email with a payment ID. This is your proof of purchase: keep it safe.
  • Please double-check your email address. If you get it wrong, we can’t send your payment ID and we won’t be able to contact you if you are a winner!
  • Due to licensing regulations, the draw is open only to residents of Great Britain aged over 16 years.

The pandemic is not over

Even as we make some tentative steps towards a future without such severe restrictions, let’s not forget that this pandemic will not be over in any meaningful way until it is controlled across the whole planet. Many countries are struggling to control outbreaks and have little hope of any significant vaccination programme for some time yet.
For Future Stars, deep within the Kibera slum, we must continue to provide an adequate supply of hand soap and clean water as we do what we can to protect the staff and children who use the centre. Can you help out today? Just click here to check out our Soap Appeal.
