New tableware purchased today
A selection of new plastic plates, bowls, and mugs were purchased today for use by the children of Future Stars.
This purchase became necessary as the number of children being fed has increased significantly.
At this time last year, the centre was feeding around 40 children on a regular basis. This has grown to 85 today.
All those extra mouths mean a lot more dishes to wash. When filling a bowl with water is not as easy as turning on a tap, it’s great to only have two sittings for lunch rather than four.
Whilst it seems sad that so many children are in need of the feeding programme at Future Stars, it is wonderful that we are now able to reach so many that would otherwise be going hungry.
These new dishes will certainly get plenty of use!
